Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the POD Prompt AI Chrome extension and website ("POD Prompt AI", "we") collect, why, and what we do with it. We collect the minimum needed to run the service and we do not sell your data.
What we collect
- License key and device identifier. When you activate the extension we store your license key together with a random identifier for your browser. This is used to check that your subscription is active and to enforce the device limit of your plan.
- Email address. Provided to Lemon Squeezy at checkout and shared with us so we can link your license to your purchase and support you.
- Images you choose to process. When you right-click an image and pick a POD Prompt AI action, the image (or its URL) is sent to our server and then to an AI provider to generate the prompt, variations, ideas or tags. We do not store the images after the request completes.
- Usage counts. The number of credits used per action, so your balance can be shown and billed correctly.
- Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (timestamps, status codes, approximate region) for security and debugging.
We do not collect your browsing history, the pages you visit, your Etsy account data, or anything from pages where you do not use the extension.
How we use it
- To verify your subscription and deliver the features you paid for.
- To generate the prompts, variations, ideas and tags you request.
- To send receipts, license keys and support replies.
- To prevent abuse, such as sharing one license across many devices.
Third parties we rely on
- Lemon Squeezy — payments, receipts and license emails. Your card details are handled by Lemon Squeezy and never reach our servers.
- Cloudflare — hosting for our website, API and database.
- Anthropic — the AI provider that processes images and text to produce results. Requests are sent via our server; they are not used to train models under the provider's API terms.
Data retention
License, email and usage records are kept while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and support. Processed images are not retained. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.
Chrome Web Store disclosure
The extension requests permission to add a context-menu item for images and to contact our API. It does not read or modify web pages beyond the image you right-click. Data is used only to provide the features described above, is not sold, and is not used for advertising or for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or its deletion by emailing us. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
